Collectors: Movies Games Books App Reviews

This is a wonderful app for any collector! It is a must have if you want to show off your collection. I only wish the app could have more pictures!

I Really Like This App but I wish it had a section for Garbage Pail Kids trading cards & toy soliders.

This app looks great and has awesome potential to catalogue all my movies, games (video and board), lego sets, books and a bunch of other things. But theres just too many problems which keep me from using it. First, the elephant in the room: Yes, this app is expensive. Pay $24.99 and unlock ALL the collections, which would be worth it for an app that looked as good as this and worked correctly. Dont buy each individual category for $5.99 each unless you only plan to use one or two. Which leads to the overwhelming confusion this developer has introduced on the app store... There are way too many options to buy/install. Theres this version which is one app that does all categories. Then they sell stand-alone apps for some of the categories. Then they have obsolete versions still in the app store. And in the end there are dozens of apps to choose from. I had to contact support to figure out the right one to buy! Oh, and if you bought the iPhone version and want the iPad version, you have to buy it again! But the biggest problem: I entered over 50 of my board games to the collection a few at a time. Most times when I opened the app to add more or look up what I entered, a couple of the games I entered would go missing! I knew this because the counter icon shows how many items are in the database, and it would decrease by 1-3 when I opened the app! How can I trust a database that randomly deletes my entries!? Worst of all, support had no problem getting back to me when I was asking which version to buy. But when I contacted them about the database issue and my missing entries, no response! Good thing Apple gave me a credit for my $24.99...

Now I know why this has no reviews. They try and trick you into buying the other lists! ($6 just to have a movie or game library) Scam! Beware!!

Latest update has helped improve many functions. Overall the app is easy to use and can be a helpful resource. Would like to see some improvements in personalization of your collections (i.e. Sorting & display options). It can also be a bit disappointing to open the app and see that information youve entered has changed. Should be a way to lock your database so that changes are not made after entering items into your collection using your preferred info.

I love this app, except it keeps asking me to pay over and over when I already did. Very disappointed.

Ive had this app for some time and like it a lot. I deliberated over the purchase for some time, comparing this with other similar apps, and feel that it had the better UI out there. Having said that, I unlocked the Collectors app on my iPad, for $25 I believe, opening up all different collectibles. I only have Books available in the Collectors app on the phone, and I would need to spend more money to unlock the same material if I wanted to view it. (I did email customer service prior to purchasing and they did tell me this, responding pretty quickly.) With the amount of apps that are universal now, I wish this was one of them. I still enjoy cataloging on the app, and would still recommend it to others. 5 star rating if it was universal.

I absolutely love this App but is there a way to change or add Catagories? Such as: my moms Hummels, my Swarovskis, candles, etc. Or are you planningvto add these on.

I liked this app. A lot. But recently it deleted ALL my lists. Id paid for comics, funko, movies and books and everything in all of them is gone.

Really way to go as far as apps go

Found this app frustrating right off the bat. Unable to enter even ONE! Deleted and will buy an app. It appears you get what you pay for...

I Love this app! It is seamless to use. I paid for the pro version and I love all the features. I am able to scan my collections and keep track of who I loaned things too! Im going to start scanning my books next.

Enjoying it so far. Have a crapload of books and this has been useful.

I downloaded this, but it only lets you catalog books. If you want to catalog anything else, you have to pay $5.99 for each other group of items... $5.99 for comics, $5.99 for toys, etc.

I have only had this app for a few short weeks. So far I love it. I use it for comics, books and movies. Its so simple to enter all your items into the app. It has so much information you can add to each book or comic. I found this originally just for my comics. Its better then any book or movie app I have found. I am using it for all of my stuff now. I love it!

It is really handy in keeping track of the books on the book shelf. Recommended..

I use Movies, Videos and Legos and after several other list apps, these are the best. Simple. Easy to use. Gets the job done of tracking and knowing what I have. And Inexpensive. Starting to use the Coins and Books now. Keep track of everything you have.

I debated the $25 purchase to open all the categories but finally decided to do so, and am VERY glad I did. The one big flaw, in my opinion is that the app isnt universal. Otherwise, I am very happy with the app, it does everything I want and more. I love the secondary sort feature, especially for video games where you can sort by platform then title. I love that you can sort comics by series or title or WHATEVER you want. The image find feature works great. You can edit just about any information you want. You can export your data for backup. Again, make it universal and I would give it 5 stars.

Love the app so far. It is easy to take photos, and add them. Really like it when the barcode scans and finds my item in the database. Now I have my collection with me when I find a treasures at yardsales.

I have used this app for several years. Its storage and usability are fabulous. I wish its exporting capabilities were better.
